In 2018 we recorded piano versions of our old songs every week for a year. We hope they can make a good soundtrack for your everyday life - riding a bike to the library, tending to houseplants, studying a foreign language or browsing through books in a museum gift shop. 『ミュージック·フォー·ミュージアム·ギフトショップス』は、名古屋在住のバンド Lullatoneの、20年に及ぶ冒険心あふれる活動から生み出されたメロディーをピアノだけで回想しています。
52曲のメロディーたちは繊細でシンプルに演奏され、美しい輝きを放ちます。
あたたかく親密、居心地のいい空間で作られた録音が、過去リリースされたアルバムのイノセントさを彩ります。

これはすっかり大人になったLullatone- ふたりの子どもたちと家で過ごしたり、宿題を手伝ったりしながら、かっこよすぎない普段着のクラシック音楽のようなメロディーが出来上がりました。手作りクラシックと言いましょうか。

最近のLullatoneは映画のサウンドトラックを作ったり、Googleやフォルクスワーゲン等々多くの企業のテレビコマーシャルの音楽を作っています。このアルバムは、そういった活動とはまた違い、もっとパーソナルなサウンドトラックを作ろうと試みたプロジェクトです。自転車で図書館に行ったり、週末に朝ごはんをゆっくり作ったり、外国語を勉強したり、美術館のギフトショップで本を物色したり、そんな普段の小さなできごとのために作ったアルバムです。
